A presentation of Antony here from his own blog:

A Shimmering of Northern Light` is my voice calling out to you from the north of England. A voice with something to say and a story to tell; expressing an opinion, informing and hopefully entertaining you.’
Antony was born in the small coastal town of Saltburn-by-the-sea, moving to towns in Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire before returning to his native Yorkshire. He has spent his adult life in the north of England working for a UK Bank and more recently two Government Agencies.
Now living in Yorkshire between the Dales and the Moors Antony has discovered the pleasures of writing using his business experiences to enrich his story telling. Short stories with a deftness of touch, humour and the occasional twist in the tale he also writes articles on a variety of subjects including travel, history, places of interest and the occasional verse of poetry.

Antony has now written and published two ebooks which bring together some of his short stories; “The Lady in Red Boots”, a collection of 7 curious and mysterious tales and “A Funny Thing Happened The Other day”, a series of amusing and humorous anecdotes based everyday life.
More is promised soon!
Antony’s stories have also been published in The Yorkshire Dalesman.
His interests include walking, taking photographs, reading, history and travel.

Thank you Mattias for the plaudits. As a writer it's always good to hear there are readers out there who not only read and appreciate your stories and articles but tell others about them too! And if anyone wishes to email a 'Yorkshireman' I will be delighted to reply.

Antony J Waller is a walking felt board -- stories attach to him wherever he goes. He writes them and turns them loose to take on lives of their own. What he leaves out is at least as important as what he leaves in. Antony gets to the point quickly while leaving room for individual interpretation. His signature style is the whiplash effect which does a number in the heads of his readers. I am pleased to see him on your blog!
